Campus Radio Metro Manila started under the network GMA / RBS way back in the early 70's. The station makes a big hit with the students and even yuppies. But in early 2000's Campus Radio was changing to a low class station and cater only mostly uneducated and out of school youth listeners that contradicts with the call sign. At that time, all the DJ's of Campus Radio Metro Manila resign from there work. As the original DJ's resign the call sign change for good as 97.1 Barangay LS Metro Manila. In, 2008, Campus is back on the air at 99.5 Campus FM in Metro Manila through Real Radio Network. But it was short live as the management not impress with the out come of the new station. After a quarter year broadcast, it when off the air. Now Campus Radio is back again with the original DJ's through the internet radio broadcast.
